Vision and Hearing Screenings
The Center for Disease Control, estimates that 1 in every 4 children have a vision problem and almost 15% of children have a hearing problem. hH works with families and schools to provide these crucial vision and hearing screenings, help families in need access medical care, and ensure children receive corrective wear, in turn improving children’s academic success and social and emotional development.

Myopia is the most common ocular disorder worldwide, it is the leading cause of visual impairment in children, and its incidence is increasing rapidly. In 2010, an estimated 27% of the world’s population were myopic. These numbers are projected to rise to 52%, by 2050.
