Vision Field Trips

At half Helen, we know that access to vision care shouldn’t depend on transportation, income, or circumstance. That’s why we pioneered our Vision Field Trips program, working directly with schools to bring comprehensive eye care to students who need it most.

Through this program, we partner with local schools to bus students directly to our clinic, where they receive full vision exams and personalized care from our clinical team. For many students, this is their very first eye exam—an experience that can change how they learn, engage, and see the world around them.

As our pediatric program continues to grow, so does the need in our community. Community support helps us close the access-to-care gap and ensures students receive high-quality vision care they might otherwise go without.
