With 20+ years experience in healthcare marketing, Amy Dowell brings a unique approach to brand strategy. Her experience spans med tech, digital health, pharma, health systems, and biologics– giving her a birds’ eye view to the opportunities and challenges facing healthcare brands regardless of size, maturity or market.
Amy spent the last decade leading strategy for the global healthcare agency, HCB Health. She focused on results and client delight while running the P&L for their MedTech Division as Managing Director & Associate Partner. At HCB Health, Amy gained in-depth ophthalmic and optometric experience, dedicating 12 years to leading brand strategy for the global eye care company, Alcon. During her tenure, Amy was also introduced to Chelsea and helped her with the initial launch halfHelen’s brand.
In 2019, Amy migrated to the digital health world, serving as Head of Sales & Marketing for the telehealth engine, Wheel. Amy focused on building the commercial foundation and a high-performing marketing team to accelerate the pipeline of partners in behavioral health, virtual primary care, remote patient monitoring and consumer lab testing.
In 2021, she realized she could impact more brands by sharing her experience directly with executives who needed ideas and support from the outside-in. So she launched Authentica Health, a marketing strategy consulting firm dedicated to accelerating the impact of brands in digital health and medtech.
