Goodbye, Friend, 

If you follow us on Facebook and Instagram, you saw that we recently said goodbye to one of the half Helen team members. Launched in Fall 2019, Optical Prime Jr. was our first step we took to provide children in need with eye care and prescription glasses. 

Optical Prime Jr. is ready to go!

Optical Prime Jr. allowed us to make the jump from identifying vision problems to treating them. Early in our program we realized that simply identifying children in need of care wasn’t enough. We wanted to make sure these students were actually being seen by an Optometrist and receiving the services they needed. While our plan was always to build out a traveling clinic, creating a pop-up version was an opportunity to begin closing this gap while we raised the funds needed to build a full mobile clinic.
