Director

Nancy Beesley

Nancy Beesley is a partner and President of HCB Health, where she has brought her love of making others shine for more than 16 years. She manages the firm’s three business units – Bio Pharma, MedTech and Health & Wellness – to ensure consistency, quality and customer delight across the company. Nancy also leads HCB’s business-development efforts with a focus on attracting dynamic, growth-driven customers who appreciate the agency’s focus on service and strategy.

Listening is at the core of everything HCB does, and Nancy is no exception. Her passion for listening extends to coaching, as well. A few years ago, she began individually training C-level executive to further develop their management skills with a focus on accountability. As part of this, she is leading an agency-wide initiative to carefully define and integrate intentional, thorough listening into everything HCB does. The end goals are to have stronger and highly successful client campaigns, and further differentiate HCB in the crowded agency space.

Before co-founding HCB, Nancy was a founding partner of The Olson Group in Austin, Texas. She was also an account supervisor at Girgenti Hughes Butler & McDowell in New York (now Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide), where she got her start in the healthcare agency world.

With more than 25 years of experience in advertising, Nancy has helped to launch more than 150 drugs and devices in almost every healthcare category. However, she calls the formation and growth of HCB her greatest professional achievement and looks forward to the challenge of further growing the agency. She takes great pride in her focus on client service, and in her ability to plot brand strategy and take a product where no one else has.

When not developing and mentoring others at work, Nancy gives back to the community by serving on the board of the Half Helen Foundation, which improves vision, hearing and scoliosis screening for elementary school children. She also contributes to and raises funds for A Day to Shine; Westlake Cheer; and a variety of other non-profit organizations in the Austin area. She also volunteers time as a career mentor to high school seniors and participates in the Business Incubator program at Westlake High School.

Nancy was born in Rockville Centre, New York, and earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Loyola University. She is the mother of one college student and two (soon-to-be) college students. She carries her passion for healthcare outside the office through her strong interest in fitness, wellness and regenerative medicine.

Nancy’s other point of pride? She can still nail a backflip on command.
